  • Rather than a bot, every single plan from The Oxford Nutritionist is created by me, Emily – a real home cook with a first-class Master’s degree in nutrition, two cookbooks and a cookery diploma from the renowned Leiths School of Food and Wine. Each and every recipe is tested in my kitchen and photographed by me. So all in all, you can be completely confident that my recipes will be easy to cook, nourish you and taste delicious.

  • Definitely not! While I’m based in Oxford — and £1 from every plan goes to support The Oxford Food Hub — all of my meal plans are designed for everyday life anywhere. They’re suitable for everyone, wherever you live.

  • My Library of ready-made plans is a great place to start. All plan recipes include adaptations for common dietary needs such as plant-based, gluten-free, dairy-free or nut-free. Plus all recipes can be easily doubled or halved to suit the number of people you’re feeding.

Some ready-made plans are designed with more specific preferences or life stages in mind, such as weight management, pregnancy, or nutrition for teens or toddlers. The Library is always growing so have a browse and see what suits you best. You can also buy a completely personalised plan (see below).

  • All my ready-made plans are designed to be flexible and include adaptations for common dietary needs such as plant-based, gluten-free, dairy-free or nut-free. The recipe quantities can also all be easily doubled or halved to suit the number of people you’re feeding.

You can follow the plans exactly as written or adjust them to fit your life. They’re there to support you, not restrict you.

  • Yes. Every recipe includes a clear key highlighting any contained allergens. All recipes also include adaptations for common dietary needs such as plant-based, gluten-free, dairy-free or nut-free.

If you have multiple allergies, severe allergies, or complex medical needs, a personalised plan may be a safer and more suitable option. If you’re unsure, please feel free to get in touch before ordering.

  • All the recipes in my ready-made meal plans can be made with basic kitchen equipment. Some plans focus on specific kit, like air fryers. If anything extra like this is needed, I’ll always make it clear in the plan description. For personalised plans, you can tell me about any equipment you’d like to use — for example an air fryer or microwave — and I’ll tailor your plan accordingly.

All plans use everyday ingredients available from UK supermarkets, so you can shop wherever you prefer.

  • A personalised plan is a good choice if you have more specific needs, want more tailored guidance, or would simply prefer something designed around you and your household from the outset.

You’ll start by completing a short (around 5-minute) online questionnaire so I can understand your routines, preferences and priorities. From there, I create a personalised meal plan designed to fit your life — whether that’s cooking for you, for two or for your family.

Personalised plans are a premium service and offer a deeper level of support than ready-made plans. They’re ideal if you want something more bespoke that you can return to again and again.

  • Yes. One-to-one consultations are available as an optional service for anyone who would like more individual support.

Many people use my ready-made meal plans without ever booking a consultation, but if you’d like tailored guidance or support alongside a personalised plan, consultations can be booked separately. Full details are available on the consultations page.

  • Every personalised plan from The Oxford Nutritionist is created by me, from start to finish. To protect quality — and my time — I take on a limited number of clients at once. If you’re on my waiting list, I’ll email you as soon as I have availability. In the meantime, you might enjoy exploring one of the ready-made plans in my Library, which are designed with the same practical, food-first approach.

  • From time to time, I offer seasonal discounts on selected plans. Sign up to my newsletter or follow on Instagram to be the first to hear.

  • Yes — you can buy vouchers that can be redeemed against both ready-made and personalised meal plans. Gift vouchers are delivered digitally by email and can be redeemed whenever the recipient is ready. Gift vouchers can’t be used on consultations.

  • All meal plans, recipes, images and written content from The Oxford Nutritionist are for personal use only and may not be published, republished or redistributed without permission. This includes uploading content to websites, social media platforms or other channels, or passing it off as your own work. You’re very welcome to talk about your experience with my meal plans and share links to my website. If you know someone who would enjoy them too, please encourage them to buy their own copy.

  • I’m always happy to hear from like-minded food, nutrition and lifestyle brands. I work with a small number of partners where there’s a strong values fit and genuine relevance for my audience.

This might include social media features, collaborations or events. All partnerships — paid or unpaid — are clearly disclosed and editorially independent. I only feature brands that I’m happy to showcase as a registered nutritionist.

If you think your brand could be a good fit, please get in touch.
